FSEN Meeting 5th June 2020

Our first ever FSEN Virtual Meeting took place on 5th June on Zoom and it was great to see some faces that haven’t been able to ever make the networking meetings. We were there to learn some new things and to share our experiences of the pandemic and how it has affected our social enterprises as well as look to what we will need support with going forward as we come out of lockdown.

Firstport is looking for ambitious, early stage social enterprises that want to scale and take on social investment, to take part in their social enterprise accelerator programme LaunchMe. LaunchMe will provide you with seed funding, intensive business support, investment readiness support, investment brokerage and mentoring. You can also pitch to get any investment that you secured matched!

What is LaunchMe?

LaunchMe is Scotland’s social enterprise accelerator. It supports ambitious, early stage social enterprises to scale up and increase their social impact. LaunchMe provides seed funding, intensive business support, investment readiness support, investment brokerage, mentoring and access to match funding.

We are looking for social enterprises that

  • are less than 3 years old
  • operate in Scotland
  • have a track record of trading and achieving social impact
  • have ambition to scale
  • have the appetite to take on social investment
